what are some anime that relate to these themes:

1.loneliness or lament
2. persistence or forgiveness
3. confession (admitting wrong)
4. inclusion (marriage or adoption)

please help me! I'm trying to find anime clips to put in a slideshow for a presentation.

Tough. Well, for the first one I'd say "(Neon Genesis/Rebuild of) Evangelion". There are several scenes where the protagonist wanders aimlessly around and has that sad, empty look on his face.

Casshern Sins fits some of those. Particularly loneliness/lamentation and forgiveness. It sort of has admitting wrongs.

Noragami has a major arc about admitting one's sins/wrong doing.

Trigun can have elements of forgiveness, confession (played serious and for laughs), and loneliness.

Digimon Adventures touches on adoption for one character's arc.

Loneliness: Say "I Love You", Kimi ni Todoke, Kotoura-san, One Week Friends, and ef: Tale of Memories are all about lonely girls making their first friends.

Confession: One of the major arcs in Myself ; Yourself is about a girl coming clean for her wrongdoings. Large sections of Eureka Seven are about seeking redemption for past atrocities.

Forgiveness: There is a great bit in Clannad: After Story where a boy forgives his father. In The Eccentric Family, one of the characters spends most of the anime wallowing in his own guilt, and is eventually forced to forgive himself. Two of the plot arcs in GTO focus on kids who have been wronged by past teachers, and who must learn to forgive them in order to move on.

Adoption: Usagi Drop; Listen to Me Girls, I am Your Father; and Aishiteruze Baby are all about abandoned or orphaned children finding a new home. Eureka Seven has a significant plot line about adoption.

Marriage: Clannad has a couple plot-arcs about marriage and finding new family. The World Is Still Beautiful is basically about a girl trying to fit in with her new husband (political arranged marriage). I Can't Understand What My Husband is Saying! is all about a married couple coming to understand each other.
