This happened at my grand mothers funeral so me and my sister did cut and paste on computer the night before nobody could tell and nobodies feeling got hurt

I found out that he was a really good man, and for a few moments I wished that my mother really had been his child by blood and not just by marriage. (My life is full of real life plot twists, it figures).

I can't call my fiancé for next five days. His job this time forbids him to bring a cellphone.

Well, the book basically said 'you're going to hell if you don't dress and act feminine.' It was very religious and just uggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggh. Terrible.

Try it for 2 months.
I don't know what the story is with mine, last I heard was that she'd call me when she got home.

Last Friday, after trying to contact one of my clients for over a month, I finally tried an alternative contact, and I was informed then that he had passed away in a car crash a few weeks ago. He was a really cool person, died so young... 39... and had 6 children. My heart broke a little...

It sounds like the kind of book my family would give each other as a joke gift. The fact that it was given to you with serious intentions might make it even more funny that anyone ever believed those things.

Yeah it was a serious gift and they're still like that. I had a hard time not making a noticeable face. I mean it was like, what are you saying about the way I dress with this huh!? They gave me all sorts of religious books like that. Good thing we don't see them anymore.

Even I can't handle for three days. Five days will be so much harder. Two months? I can't imagine it.

The art of gift giving should really be taught in school. I have received so many weird gifts over the years because some people don't understand the difference between giving a gift because you want the other person to have it and giving a gift because it's something the other person wants. It's not so bad when it's a misunderstanding, but it annoys me when people give gifts that they know that the other person doesn't want but they still want to give it to them.

Me: "No, really, you don't have to get me any Christmas/birthday presents this year."

Some would say that preferring no gift to a bad gift makes me spoiled, but I would say that this just displays the fact that I have received some truly bizarre things over the years.

Well it's understandable when gifting is more about the intention than it is the item. It's the thought that matters, as the common saying goes.
