For some reason whenever I try to buy a recurring Premium Membership, it keeps telling me "Your payment method has been declined. Please try again." Even though my Card information is typed in perfectly, triple checked. This only became an issue because my PREVIOUS RECURRING PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP stopped for some unspecified reason. I'm not short on money and I LOVE Crunchyroll, but it's a little hard to support them when they won't take my money.

Have you considering calling the customer service number on the back of your card and asking them if they know the reason?

That's the thing though, it's not doing this for anything else, I can buy games on steam, I bought some food on the way home from school today. I ordered some stuff from Ebay today as well. It's just Crunchyroll doing this so I didn't see a reason to call my bank.

That doesn't change the fact that if the request is actually being submitted through the payment gateway, your bank should be able to quickly tell you the reason it is being rejected. The only reason they wouldn't know is if the rejection occurred before submission.

Keep in mind that account related questions are supposed to be sent directly to customer service rather than posted in the forum here. Even for more general questions, this forum is more for member-member help. CR customer service representatives normally visit it only if they've managed to clear out their work queue for the day.


tl:dr version: You can either sit on your hands and hope CR responds, or you can call your bank and possibly have an answer right away.

I do appreciate that you're trying to help me, but that sorta just sounds to me like I should go fix it myself. Anyway, I did call my bank and they didn't find any sign of an attempt to use my Credit Card.

I also have the same issue and have sent multiple requests through the proper form but the staff is not at all helpful not even a reply. it wont work if i try from my lap top or through my ps3. and as well my card works everywhere else but here.

I'm In the same situation, been for over a month - crunchyroll tried to help, but in the end they just told me to contact my bank, which i did, and they tell me theres nothing wrong on their end, they help they could offer me was a new card, so im at quite a loss here

I am in the same situation however when i try to attempt this it says i am currently using a free trial and/or already a premium member.
So for some reason Crunchyroll says i am both a regular member and a member at the same time. Also where the hell is crunchyroll's number?

but then you have to use paypal " shudder" i'm having the same problem. keeps saying my info is wrong.....huh? really fix your gateways. danm works everywhere else. funimation regularily takes money from this vard . just why is all i am asking
