Hello! I have a new Nintendo 3ds, and while I do plan to get the newest Monster Hunter game, I was wondering.. Would anyone want to recommend a few games to me to play?

I have Legend of Zelda OoT right now, I plan to buy one of the No Escape games before the newest one comes out later this year to play, and I plan to buy Steamworld Dig and Heist (when Heist comes out of course)

I'm into puzzle games, strategy, horror and things like that. I can't play any of the Pokemon games as they give me vicious headaches. SO! Recommend away?

Radiant Historia
Bravely Default
Final Fantasy Tactics A2 (first one is better, this one is pretty good)

Those are more strategy/rpg type games with great stories and pretty easy play.
In Bravely Default you can actually set up auto combat so you don't have to continue to do things while completing objectives. Totally underrated for a JRPG.

You could definitely check out ZERO ESCAPE: Virtue's last reward.

It's a really fresh visual novel that has a great series of twists and air of mystery.

Got an 88 on Metacritic and 8.8 user score

You didn't list JRPGs, but if you do enjoy them, I would suggest Fire Emblem: Awakening and Bravely Default, both of which also have sequels. Tales of the Abyss is amazing, but I would play it on PS2 instead if you have a choice.

Rune factory 4 It can get confusing if you haven't played any rf games before coz there's a lot to do but the tutorials are good. Its not puzzle, strategy nor horror though.

Some strategy kinda games I know are
Etrian odyssey 2
Devil survivor 2
Shin megami tensei overclocked
Fire emblem awakening
Ghost recon shadow wars
Disgaea (it was in Ds but idk 3ds)

Fire Emblem Awakening is to me by far the best game on the 3DS.

Xenoblade if you don't have a Wii - its pretty much an offline monster hunter with a good story. Also about 70 hours minimum.

I'm guessing you'll like any of the SMT or Devil Survivor games.

If you like Dungeon Crawlers the 3DS has a ton of them.

I will defend most of what SquareEnix creates (hell I liked FF13 and FF13-2) but I thought Bravely Default was trash. The graphics were really well done. However I didn't like any of the characters, the story was lame, and the battle system was brainless.
