That hits home with me- the whole worrying about other peoples problems, trying to please everyone ,
putting myself last type thing.

Yeah I get them when Im in my room just playing a video game or whatnot, sitting definitely makes it worse
for me, even when my doctor tells me to sit through it and let it happen. Its hard to think logically once panic strikes

One more thing you probably know already, but it's a huge thing that helped me a lot is avoid caffeine! I still drink tea and soda in extreme moderation, but coffee and energy drinks are right out.

I didnt know about the caffeine , I usually have 2 cups a day, Il probably cut back to the odd one for the meantime and
see if it helps. Thanks ^^

I have just recently started getting anxiety attacks, I don't know where they have come from.
I think its down to lack of sleep cause of stupid hours I work and commitments outside of work.

At time I feel like it's a heart attack but I know it isn't and other it can feel as though I'm chocking on my own adam's apple it's horrible.

Just wish they would go away.

I've had them before. I've learned relaxation techniques and over time learned to cope with one if I sense an onset. I can handle them better than most.

My tip is to know your talent, increase your self-confidence and self-esteem. so, it is possible to cure it if you put your mind to it ~

if it is social anxiety, don't care much about other people's problem and focus on improving yourself to do something that increase your self-esteem and so you can be helpful to others more. it needs time and effort though. so believe in yourself and go ahead.

Used to have panic attacks but I have it under control now. Practice breathing. Breathe at a rate of 6 breaths a minute ( average amount of respirations for an adult is 12 to 20 so dont do it for too long or you can end up hypoxic) this is good for when your feeling anxious. If your having a straight up panic attack hold your breathe for a little bit then start trying to breathe slowly. Learned this in emt school and used it to help myself now when I get calls for people having panic attacks I coach them on their breathing. Next time try this out and let me know how it worked for you

Well I feel uncomfortable going outside with some kind of hat now. That's the latest coping mechanism I've accidentally created for myself since I hate going outside.

I don't have panic attacks and start hyperventilating though.
