I've had horrible anxiety attacks/depression since high school, to the point where I had to leave school and graduate online. Handling anxiety is very hard. It took me lots of years to get to the point where I am able to cope well enough to return to everyday life. I think the key to finding what coping mechanisms is to try everything to its fullest despite how dumb it sounds.

Used to from work but over the years I learned to say no over the phone. I would tell my boss its my day off and unless someone is missing limbs i'm taking it. The only reason I could say that to him and keep my job is because i'm handling the trouble spots for the gulf coast.

I have them too. Time has dulled some triggers for me, and enhanced others and created new ones too. As many have said, never give in. My husband helps me a lot. Just focus on ANYTHING positive in your life. YouTube, a movie, etc. Reach out to others. It helps.

No, but my mom used to deal with a lot of panic attacks.

Yes, and as of today it has gotten much worse. But I live thru it!
