Post Reply Is your anime list organized? or do you even have one?
Posted 8/24/15
I'm curious to see if anyone else has a anime list that is organized in some way or even has one.

I'm not sure why... But i tend to go overboard with organizing my list a bit odd if you ask me but meh.

My way of organizing my anime list: Top 20 Favorite Animes (Currently) Top 20 Favorite Characters (Currently) And then a long list of short descriptions of finished animes and or animes that are just labelled as "-=[Watching!]=-"

Kind of?

I mean I have a Top 40 over on my blog.

Then on MAL I have everything I have seen.

That is it.

http://myanimelist.net/ is a real great site if you want to organize your completed/watching/plan to watch lists.

Just alphabetically on ANN, trying to organize 800+ anime sounds like a nightmare.

I recommend myanimelist to organize the anime that I have seen/going to watch. Just don't bother using the forums...

I use Hummingbird and Microsoft Excel. I haven't updated both in a while.

I use Hummingbird for tracking my anime. I much prefer it over Myanimelist.

I wouldn't say my list is "organized" but it's very sensible (at least to me).

It's just a spreadsheet with two "areas". First is a list of every normal show i've completed. Then I have another dynamically growing list of favorites.

Every so often I update the list by just putting everything in alphabetical order, because I just add stuff at the end without actually alphabetizing it immediately.

Here's an example of the first few entries for those interested.

So in a sense I guess it is somewhat organized, but I have it in such a way that it grows quite organically as I finish stuf.

I'd normally throw everything all the anime I've encountered onto MyAnimeList. But I haven't been updating that in a while, and some anime I've watched back a couple of years ago, I've forgotten, so it's a little inaccurate.

No list organization but my actual physical copies are all organized into my bluray/DVD collection which is alphabetized

I use MyAnimeList, pretty good way to keep track.
