Post Reply Supernatural/paranormal experiences?
Posted 8/27/15
I've posted this before in some thread but I've seen a orb of light what I called at the time a fairy floating around when I was a kid. It was trippy in retrospect and I didn't tell anyone when I was younger cause it was so unfathomable.

I saw what I believe to be a UFO hovering low over my street.
It was an orange arc with four orbs above it.
It was there for exactly six minutes.
Then ascended with speed.
Disappeared.

THAT would be SUCH an awesome superpower. Unless you can see terrifying futures then it would be...mentally draining. Do elaborate please! <3

It's really not that awesome. It just creeps people out

I saw a person in a red robe standing in front of my room when i was a kid that was some scary shit and as well as hearing my name being whispered to me when no one was around other than that i haven't experienced anything else thank god. I think the house i grew up in was haunted lol

Thats what I also suffered with for a year(and still occasionally do when I stay over at a different place and feel a presence) and I can't help but think it has to do with the paranormal sometimes. I can hear the electromagnetic field rise and it sounds like a loud continuous bell ringing noise and I will feel a strange sensation always around my neck. Its between cold and weightless and I can't stand it. It literally makes you scare to fall asleep.

The same thing happened to me but more extreme.

I could never move but I could see the ceiling and hear my family watching tv or talking outside. One time I felt like "something" was dragging me around my room, it was scary because I could see different parts of my room while I was floating around but I didn't see anyone and the inability to move made it worse! Other times I felt someone touching my leg, it was almost like a horror movie where you feel something under the covers and it suddenly grabs you....

The worst one was when I opened my eyes in the middle of the night but everything was dark, somehow I knew something was above me, again...I couldn't move. That "something " came down full force hitting my whole body and taking my breath away. The force went up and came down again and again, stronger with every hit and my stomach hurt the most because I felt like it was going to explode at any moment. I even started to cry. I always tried to pray when I had sleep paralysis but this time it was impossible for me because it hurt so much that I couldn't even think! when it finally stopped and I could move again, I inspected my body which was drenched in sweat and I felt like I just ran 100 miles. My whole body was throbbing and my stomach hurt a lot. I also had the tears on my face....that night I went to sleep with my mom because I felt traumatized XD I laugh now but it wasn't a laughing matter before.

Years later I watched the movie Amityville of horror and this part was EXACTLY what happened to me except that I couldn't move, yell and I wasn't possessed : https://youtu.be/rxq_A0RdJ3o I was really surprised when I saw that....

Thank God I don't have it anymore but I suffered for 10 years because of it. There were times I refused to close my eyes and fall asleep because I didn't want to have it again. My mom even asked her church to give her holy water and she cleaned my room with it XD

One day i woke up feeling heavy pressure on my back like something was pushing me down. (I sleep on my stomach a lot) Then i looked to the left and there was something that looked like a winged demon from a movie or something. It was laughing and i got a adrenaline rush and i forced myself up and then it dissapeared. It felt awesome though because at the moment i felt bad ass.

Note: I am not religous and i don't believe in a god or demons or the supernatural like ghosts. Tha being said i still can't explain what happened. I think it might have been a half awake/asleep dream, but anywho it was still a cool experience/dream or whatever it was. (Also i live alone so it wasn't someone pulling a prank)

Haha oh man! I do think religious things affect sleep paralysis because it has the power of belief backing it? That is my theory anyway. I am so happy you don't deal with it anymore. I haven't either since I moved haha

I believe in God but I'm not religious, my mom is not religious either but I think she was more scared than I was

It stopped when I moved out to live on my own...was it the same for you?

I always question whether my ability to see/hear or sense spirits is because my Great Grandmother played with an Ouija board a few months before I was born. She became very ill and claimed that a black man visited her at night (meaning shadow man but her unfortunate description of him was "the black man, he is all black with no eyes."), she was diagnosed with schizophrenia and died when I was 5 years old. I've always been able to see or hear spirits, but it's not something I indulge in and I try to stay away from all things paranormal. Thankfully, apart from seeing the odd dead person here and there, I've lived a very normal, happy life. Nobody believes me if I tell them, but it doesn't bother me, it helps me forget about it and pretend that it doesn't happen.

There's a lot of ppl with similar experiences like you. Those ppl might not be around you, but they're definitely there.
