Can we talk about Sunakawa and Yukika for a bit?

A lot of people seem to have concerns about Yukika as a love interest, and I have a few of my own (namely that I wonder if she has the courage to be more active in her love rather than how passive she has been in the past). I trust the writer though, so I am willing to wait and see where this goes, but I understand why Saijou keeps coming up.

I'd always thought the perfect first romance for Sunakawa would be a girl who doesn't even like him that much, so he has to work to gain her approval. It would be a complete reversal from what he's used to with girls. Saijou fits that description really well. The face she made when Sunakawa offered to help her home was hilarious.

Yukika, however, is extremely passive, and with Sunakawa being passive too, I wonder if that will work.

I was curious if Suna would develop something towards Saijou at first. Like you said, being so popular, it would have been interesting to see him fall for a girl who is not already crazy about him and his looks. Now that Yukiko confessed to him, I have a feeling that she may become less passive in the future and hopefully more herself.

I hope Yukiko is book smart for some reason I think Suna likes a female who has a brain and looks don't matter as much compared to typical teenager boys. I am however a little concerned we only have like 3 episode left and I don't want this thing to feel rushed I guess we will find out.

I hope she is smart too, usually the smart ones tend to burst out 'I love you Suna' haha

Only 3 episodes left?

I think that when she gets her confidence she won't be a stalker hahahaha and they turn out to have a lot in common...I couldn't picture him being lovey-dovey

Three episodes isn't a lot... but Takeo and Yamato had a better love story than Twilight* in one episode, so I will tightly hold to my faith in the author.

As for what Suna likes in a woman, I don't know that intelligence is necessarily one of the things he holds in high regard because although he himself is book smart, his best friend is not. Suna only laughs when he's with Gouda, so I think that he might like a girl who can make him laugh like Gouda does...

Like woodygirl97 and runningal said though, I don't feel like we've really met Yukiko because she's always nervous when she's on screen. It will be interesting to see what she is actually like and what kind of personality she has.

*(sorry, sorry, I've never used that phrase so I thought I'd try it)

I was thinking the same thing but I like vampire romances better than cute lovely-dovey ones....twilight would have been so much better if it was more physical like in anime where a vampire bite can be sexual to a human that stuff is hot

Suna doesn't seem like a guy who is into public displays of affection at all. My guess his perfect date might be home cooked meal with Netflixs or reading maybe a couple words tops for conversation like hello, thanks for meal and good night

In that case, Yukika is already a perfect partner as a stalker, lol.

I'm not thirty yet, and I didn't realize this was code for sex. If that's code for 'let's have sex', then what in the world am I supposed to ask my husband when I want to watch Netflix and chill? I'm taking the phrase back, because it makes things unnecessarily complicated for me.

I think you should take phrase back for sure. A phrase definitely help males get a clue for the green light mine is did you turn your phone off?
