i dont like them, unless its a really big budget they have, they can really do a great job, but just watching some with a crap production there far away from gettin ranks and ratings so it would be just a loss of money.

Can 3D anime actually be called Animes?

Actually, this guy has a point.

As far as the technicalities are concerned, FFAC would not fall under Anime, but it is generally classified as anime as a merchandise. In other words, it'd be easier for Amazon, for example, to place FFAC under an "anime" description since many people who purchase the product would just so happen to buy Anime products, as well.

But again, technically speaking, FFAC would not be an anime... at least not yet.

The problem is, there are different schools of thought, as far as anime are concerned. Some believe that it is a thematic idea (meaning a combination of angles, themes, ideologies and styles), some believe it's a cultural thing (who made it, how it was made, etc), and some follow the traditional "pen and paper" idea.

But there are some "3D anime" coming out ~ this is basically 3D renditions of existing anime, or hybrid versions, usually using 3D cell shading techniques to bring about "cartoony" effects. But these are still in their infancy, and they have yet to make a substantial impact in the market. Successful "3D animes" are little, and FFAC is perhaps one of the notable ones, yet still not prolific enough to garner it a "anime" label, technically speaking. However, if the technology permits, and the market concedes to it, FFAC may eventually be recognized as an undeniable product of Japanese Anime.

Currently, it falls under the category of CGI generated feature-length movies.

They have 3D animes that aren't like for a short while not the whole thing. xD I didn't know that. Unless it had awesome 3D graphic I would most likely like it.
