One small asteroid 20 miles across moving at 6 miles a second is all of the natural disaster it would take .Humans are hardly masters of their fate no matter how many times they quote Invictus.

Two super volcanoes erupting at the same time, say the size of Yellowstone ,would also put a definite crimp in a persons Labor Day plans.I hate the cold.

Viruses evolve yes, but so humans. Then there's the march of technology. Only time will tell if we create a universal vaccine or an unholy super virus.
