Im dealing with grief at the moment and I think whats helping is trying to get
back in touch with myself- doing things I used to really enjoy but dont know why I stopped doing them eg: Drawing, going out
for a meal somewhere- just the simple things and also rediscovering things I used to like from ages ago

Also Its helped to reconnect with friends.
Wathching your favourite movie is a great one

playing video games, reading, having deep discussions with ppl.
Anything that requires almost my full attention to get my mind off of it.

Probably a bad way to deal with it but eh.

The most i ever get is anger and stress which is why i work out and practice martial arts. Both are awesome to deal with stress and anger!

Bottle it up. I don't like to show emotions.

I might have a couple shots of whiskey. Write poetry. Play video games. Do jigsaw puzzles.

I go blank. Drink. Watch tv, but don't think about what I'm seeing. Listen to music. Go somewhere alone so I can blank out.

Take it on the chin, then get on with life.

Curl up in a ball in bed and cry.
But that's only for extra special people.

I don't bottle it up. I cry until there are no more tears left and then move on. Months or years later, I may cry again until there are no more tears left. Repeat this cycle until you got over it.

I mean, we can't mourn forever. We have to live our lives. The people we've lost wouldn't want us to be sad all the time.

I like to go to gym and run the treadmill for hours until near collapse. Then music with headphones but usually not much talking maybe some tears. In my experience of a relative dying- time is the healer everything else helps you make it through the present day.

I bottle it up basically, and just listen to music and write poetry.
