The worst thing a person can do to you is physically hurt you or kill you. Pain goes away and i'm not affraid of dying so no i'm not afraid of people. That being said there are so many people out there you should be afraid of and hope you never cross paths with them.

by saying there are people that should be feared kind of contradicts your first statement

Obviously there are so many people who fear getting hurt and that also fear death. When i said that i meant other people should be afraid of and wasn't refering to myself.

By saying you don't fear people, you're essentially saying you have a death-wish; flight is often a much more appropriate response than fight, and there's a reason humans, like other animals, have a reflexive fear response to critical life-or-death situations.

To go back to your specific example, however, why would you ever try fighting someone bare-fisted who has a gun? Just by looking at things from a risk-benefit perspective, it's much, much safer to just let them rob you than trying to fight. Is that pocket money you're carrying that much more valuable than your life? Having some modicum of fear, better if controlled, will go much further to keeping you alive than pointless recklessness.

he's not tho...xD anyways.
we all bleed the same way
they might hurt you or whatever because hey no one knows what death feel's like
because You're dead *obviously*
no one bleeds golden blood for me to be afraid of you

You should fear anything that has the ability to think.

So yes.

Pretty much my sentiment.

That's not to say that you should be cowed by everything and a slave to fear; all I'm trying to say is having a wariness of the unknown (in this case, other people) will go much further to keeping yourself intact.

It's not as simple as you think. Just because i'm not afraid to die doesn't mean i'm just going to let someone kill me or stand right in front of a speeding car. I'm not stupid.

Also like Ignightingmemories said there is pride involved but there is also more to it for me. I'd rather stop the guy with the gun rather than let him go so he can do it again to someone else or do something even worse.

Obviously if the odds are against me i won't do anything stupid which would be essentialy killing yourself.

That's a reasonable response. For example, the situation with the rail car in France (last week?) with the men who stopped that mass-shooting: that man was obviously there to kill a crowd of people, so of course the most rational course of action was to bring him down at any cost.
