So 90% of the time I'm just listening to people and observing them.

Yup. I notice people going from "How's it going, bro?" to "What's the meaning of life?" in a matter of seconds.

I enjoyed going to cinema when I was growing up in the Caribbean. It wasn't so much the movies you watched but how the audience was. One time a family sitting behind us was more entertaining than the movie. When we left one of my friends kept saying "Dohlleee, sit down!" I don't go to see movies out that much any more. I've found it quite boring, no ambience. I'm content to see movies on the small screen. The only time I noticed something was turning around to find a couple sleeping, heads back mouths open.

I sit at the very front of my lecture hall, and every day, the same group of friends will sit behind me.
I've never spoken to them before, but since lectures can get dull, I eavesdrop in on their conversations.
After a year or so of doing this, I feel like I'm their best friend, I know their name, relationship problems, things they're going to be doing that week things they've already done etc etc
And then I remember that wait a sec lol I've never even spoken to them stop thinking you're able to have friends you piece of shit shut up and cry in the corner.

lol i'm laughing so hard XD

Yeah that happens. I sometimes hear things that I'm pretty sure I just wasn't supposed to hear.

Ooohhhh yeah especially when you speak more than 1 language, and those people have no idea that you do. You think youre having a private conversation, I think not

Honestly though it's kinda hard not to hear people talking even if it's unintentional, because you're quiet and they're loud.

Sort of, but not actively, and I try to be conspicuous about it. If I'm listening to your conversation, you'll know, and if you don't seem to appreciate it, I'll go do my own thing. I'm not much of a talker usually, so when the people around me are having a conversation I usually just listen and interject now and then if I've got something to contribute. I find I normally don't in real-time though; it tends to take me a while to organize my thoughts into words.
