I just killed this huge centipede. Half of its legs were scattered across the bottom of my slipper and we're still moving at a rapid speed while the main body remained motionless on the floor. It was creepy. I'm going to have trouble sleeping now...

I hate to break it to you, but if you look at it from the perspective of the actual definition of "kill", which is "to deprive of life : cause the death of" each and every one of us is a walking killing machine. Your body has about TRILLIONS of blood cells dedicated to wiping out microorganisms.
I can hear comments right now of "they don't count!" Sorry, they're life forms and your body is slaughtering them in numbers beyond the human population yearly.
It doesn't matter if you are a vegetarian or a carnivore, you're still consuming some form of life to survive. Now for larger life forms you can choose to kill or not, the scary thing is the more you kill the easier it becomes, do you break into tears when weeding a garden or emptying a mouse trap? I seen it happen with young children...one child in tears because after watching n earthworm crawl along it got eaten by a bird. The simplest thing to do is realize that kill or be killed is life in it's most basic form, or you can opt out waste to nothing and die. Those bugs you've been worried about killing will be more than willing to eat you.

not sure if this is a joke or a serious question but ill give you an honest answer. Yes, i have killed . Ive taken human life and its something to not be proud of. combat is nasty and it changes people, hell war in General is something to not be proud of. knowing that the guys you kill are pure evil and each one you kill saves peoples live which makes it a little easier to deal with but not less traumatic. I guess thats why i got addicted to Anime, to escape reality.

I struck a bird with my car while driving. Insects, yes. Spiders, try not to.

Vegetarian or carnivore? Most of an apple is starch -- it's like the fat of the tree, and in the middle is the seed which we don't usually eat. Huge difference between vegetarians and carnivores man. And yes, I know spinach has cells, so that might be a different story, but keep in mind that you're not killing the spinach plant to eat spinach, you're just taking its _____.

Bugs, all the time. Rodents, a few times. Never a large animal or a human though

I ran over this bunny that ran out in front of me. I tried to get out of the way but was too late. I was pretty depressed that day.

I had to kill rats in a medical research lab I worked in once. Because of the nature of what we were measuring we had to kill them instantly with (I kid you not) a rat guillotine. It was horrible. After the first one, they all knew. They smelled the blood and squealed and tried to get away. I felt sick about it and refused to do it again.

When I was 12 I was playing with my pet bird when I randomly decided to play peekaboo with it using my blanket... it got stuck in it and suffocated. Most traumatizing experience ever.
