People misuse guns for the same reasons they misuse cars and alcohol.... They are idiots. When people misuse either they should lose it.

Kind of like how it's easy to forget your spending real money when you're using credit cards.

Perhaps for a liberal. Credit cards are just plastic money instead of paper money.

Well, when you sell shit that's barely short of assault rifles to people, most will misuse them. Hell, my dad got an advert for a sporting goods store, and guess what they were advertising on the front page? Shit barely short of assault rifles. For 1.2k.

I understand that there are perfectly respectable gun owners out there, and it only takes one lunatic to send everyone into a panic against all gun owners, but really. Assault rifles? Near assault rifles? My mom's BF owns hunting shotguns. For hunting. Hunting. I understand even smaller handguns for protection, but really, there should be a limited selling of the aforementioned types of guns.

Those are guns that can cause serious harm, those guns can be modified to become what are essentially military grade rifles. those are the kinds of guns that literally are known primarily for their MISUSE. Ergo, I think, honestly, that they shouldn't be so easily accessible. Call me a radical leftist or some shit for it. but you know it to be true. You don't need a fuckin' ASSAULT rifle for protection.

I want my class III for FULL AUTO FUNTIME.

Also, why the hell would be spend 1.2K? Most AR15 go for $499 now.

I have one of these, but I 922r'd it with a folding stock. It's a nice hunting rifle.

But just so everyone knows...

In 2012, only 322 people were murdered with any kind of rifle, F.B.I. data shows.

long guns aren't scary, so enjoy them.

When you say misuse......

Is there another purpose for a gun besides to kill?

^ Beat me to it, huh?

Guns are made to harm people. Therein lies the problem. You can say guns don't kill people; people kill people; but guns make it a hell of a lot easier, and there's no point trying to deny that.

But I don't live in America, nor do I intend to, so do whatever you all want.

The question is not why people misuse guns, but: why the have and use them in the first place?

Are you so afraid of life to need a gun for "protection"?

So afraid of life to convince society that having guns is so "macho?

Even if it's a sign that you're afraid of everything around you, even your own shadow?

The need for weapons responds to the need of protection from the outside world, in other words, those who need weapons, feel an awesome fear.

It depends on the situation. In this situation, this man went to far. Dogs do bite people. lol He should have been mature since he supposedly was the "adult". He sounds like an ass or had a bad day and put his aggression on the kids. On the other hand, the dog you describe was big. I've always heard that dogs can tell what type of person they are, so maybe the dog warn the man to stay away from the kids. idk This woman ( I forgot where I read or saw it) had an Australian shepherd. The woman's date that she just met came over to her house to pick her up and when he walked in the dog was acting weird. Barking and growling at the guy. The woman made apologized to the man and told him that he needed to leave. The man got upset and move towards her. She finally said she'll call the cops, but the dog protected her and he left. I believe he was in the right that the dog ran up to him and he should of protect himself if and only if he didn't act like a threat to the kids, but the man went to far with the gun and then kicking the dog. That was uncalled for.
