They don't respect the other when it comes to power though. They respect the position. I've had enough people suckin' my D to know how that works.

Hmm.. you can do a lot thing with power. Someone like Bill Gates is very charitable and that's respectable.

That's good.

:D arigato. A senpai you adore basically lol. Someone like Terry Fox for example has inspired a lot of people. You probably have a writer you respect... etc. Respect is earned by your actions and not your position. Someone who kiss your ass does not respect you nor respect your position... they'll just kiss the next person's ass for a higher position when they succeed you.

Yes. I refuse to respect people unless they respect me. I don't care if you're my boss or my teacher, you have to treat me like a human being for me to treat you like a human being.

Thanks a bunches.

Explain your opinion in great detail.

Depends how aware you are on the people you're dealing with.

A peace sign means different in other cultures. It might mean "vagina" or "a middle finger."

All in all, just do the golden rule: "Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you."

I suppose if two people can understand the simple concept of seeing eye to eye it should be equal in theory.

You don't need to be respected in order to respect others, therefore it doesn't work both ways but can be simultaneous.

I think all people deserve a base amount of respect. Everybody should be treated like an equal. After you get to know that person and decide how you personally feel about that person, you can give them less or more.

Respecting someone and expecting respect back is just gratuitous.
