I usually write romance and drama, but when it comes to reading I don't really care what genre it is as long as it's well written.

If I was any good at writing, mystery. I want to make a believable setting and have unsettling undertones that were leveled towards the readers as nightmare fuel. I'd want to deconstruct all the gender tropes in society and put them into my book as one big "And take that."

You know what's funny? I was just reading a blog post about how sci-fi and fantasy get grouped together all the time, and people tending to just blend the two together, despite being completely separate genres.

Anyway, most of my works involve superpowers, so I'd say I like writing sci-fi, but my favourite books to read do tend to be fantasy... Well, they're all fantasy, actually.

I like to write at the moment psychological romance with bits of lewdness there's something else but I don't know how to classify it. I'm not very learned on genres.

I love reading fantasy, and enjoy sci-fi as well. I've been trying to work on a sci-fi/horror story for a few years, something which will never come to fruition, I'm sure.

Modern or Post Modern is generally what I tend to write with maybe a dash of surrealism for good measure. When it comes to reading though my favourite is probably just straight up modernist or magical realism. Maybe speculative, if it's something like Atwood's Oryx and Crake.
