You don't have to be so rude about it. I meant nothing rude by it. It's just not something I'm use to as I come from another anime related forum and that's frowned upon. My apologies.

What forum is that?

My apologies, I thought you were being rude about it. Why would altering text colour be frowned upon? I understand the neons or the ones that are too light, but otherwise it should be fine. I was a gaia regular for quite some time, and there it's pretty commonplace. idk softer colours are easier on my eyes, I suppose. I like looking at them, so I use rosey / ashy browns a lot.

I've seen this video linked a couple times before, and for the most I do agree with his thoughts on the matter. Though I think that with distribution methods catching up to (and in several areas now equal to) the fansub distribution method the time is getting ripe for another wave of "good" anime (at least by western standards). However, the continuing rise of physical media is a bit worrisome (like 12 episodes retailing over $200 *glares at Aniplex*).

I mean, there is still the issue with the demographic that typically consumes anime (in the west) generally being in intermediate/high school. I started that way, and it's only been within the last few years I've actually had the income to be able to afford the content I want.

Unrelated though, I completely wasted an hour watching several of his other videos. I don't really agree with any of his ranking videos, but his analysis videos are pretty good (though his interpretation of that analysis is sometimes odd).
