I personally think it's way more fun than any automatic transmission, and very easy when you get the hang of it.

So people of Crunchyroll, how many of you can still drive with one?

Yes, but I'm lazy so I drive an automatic.

I can! And agree that it's more fun.

BTW I've moved this to the Polls forum, where all Poll Topics belong--but it wasn't very fun to move since it didn't involve using a stick shift

Yeah. More fun.

Granted when I lived in LA it was pure torture in stop and go traffic, but I currently live in a pretty small town with great twisty b-roads (I also have a little MX-5 that's a riot on the twisties) so driving is more of a joy than an inconvenience now.

No, but I would like to learn.

There's something so charming about a stick-shift.

I had my license taken from me in the late 90's and will never drive again.

Medical reasons.

My car I learned on was a manual transmission and my current car has one too. I love stick shift and it's also very useful to have in our winters when it's better to have control of your shifting.

I love driving a manual or stick. So much more control. The only times I dislike it is in a traffic jam.

I answered without reading the post and thought you meant a literal stick.

Is that a broomstick??! First learnt to drive a manual, first car was a manual, and have been driving them on & off for work over the past 30+ years, so I'm pretty comfortable with them. But I am lazy, and would always prefer an auto given the choice!!
