I seriously never thought this would be an issue but as a working class adult I find myself having more games than I can play. Anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

No.

Simply limit your selection to those most appealing to your personal tastes.

Ugh same here... I feel like there's always no time for everything you want to do... that is playing..

I love playing JRPGs but it takes about 50-70hrs and that's why it's hard to even start one lately... There's like games I bought and it just sits on my shelf for years.. haven't even opened it

Action games, are far easier, for a 8-12hrs gameplay, I'm usually done within a week.

You work for 8 hrs and you either have 1-2 hrs travel and etc time. So you either have 6-8hrs of gameplay so you can at least have 6-8hrs of sleep. So basically, you'll feel like you have 2 jobs, working in the day and gaming at night. Minus the days, you need to fulfill your social obligations... so yeah... -> This is me on my gamer mode

I don't play a whole lot of different games at once, but this month has been the exception. I picked up F1 2015 last month. I also picked up Metal Gear Solid V, on the 1st. Forza 6 releases early for me on the 10th. Then The Taken King Expansion, for Destiny releases on the 15th. I don't really play much on the weekdays, since that time, is usually reserved for Anime, and Youtube videos. My problem is, there just isn't enough hours in the day, to do everything I would like.

I have that problem a lot ...

I will be in the middle of a current game and then see another one that I HAVE to have, and that will go on and on and on...

I don't have that problem. I'm hesitant to buy games for some reason. Maybe it's because of the time investment.

Yes!! I'm glad someone brought this topic up!

I have games that I attempt to play and get somewhat far in, then stop either due to a lack of interest or lack of time and space! Especially with Uni starting in a few days, I'll be busy reading chapters and writing 25-page essays daily rather than sit and play a complex game for about 4 hours.

I try limiting myself and am slowly going back to retro-platform games on my NES or 3DS lol

I don't think that's an "issue" per se, but I do believe we, me included, should stop buying stuff just because they're cheap, 150 games on steam and I played like 20 of them. ATM I just play CSGO, dota and some visual novels

Yeah, I've got multiple backlogs (not just on Steam, but with Crunchyroll and with physical manga as well), but Steam's is probably the biggest issue because of how expensive it can get and how easy it is to say "Oh, it's only $2.50" and splurge on another game. At least most of the games I buy like that can be finished in a couple of hours, making me feel like I got my money's worth, but there's still enough of a backlog (and enough of a list of games I would like to play) that it's starting to get a bit worrying. Especially considering that I live on what can only generously be called a graduate student's "salary".

Steam is a devil all to itself when it comes to mushrooming a backlog, but I have the same issue: Too many games, not enough time. Common issue in adult life for several of us, I suspect.

Nah. I can control my impulsive nature most of the time to make sure I don't buy too many games. In fact I now only have slightly over 300 games to play in my backlog.... .....

ok so maybe I have a problem....
