I've been a two game kinda gamer for a while now. I'll have a multiplayer game (usually an FPS) and a single player game (usually an RPG) Anymore than that and it's like gaming overload for me Having too many games hasn't really been a problem for me cause' there will normally only be three or four games a year that really catch my interest.

Unfortunately, within the past year and a half or so there have been a number of games that have caught my eye with more on the way and they're coming out faster than I can beat the games I have on hand so I'm thinking this whole too many games problem could become very real in the near future. Ahh first world problems...

Me too! I definitely blame it on Steam and GOG sales; a few bucks for a 40+ hours game, and there's like ten of them on sale at the same time.

I wish I could become immortal so I have all the time to play them all, specially considering how frequently they come out these days. Back in the good all days, we had like two good games a month

Yup 42% of my steam games go unplayed https://steamdb.info/calculator/76561197969572681/?cc=us
wish that was my only problem but then there's my consoles and handhelds . I've recently come to the conclusion that for myself at least the sweet spot for how long a game should be is about 7-8 hours max, anything longer than that and It's pretty certain that if it's not an amazing game i just wont have the time to finish it.

184 steam games, I'm playing 8 new games simultaneously. It's a struggle.

Yeah I was having this problem for awhile. Preordering and buying way too many games that I just don't have the time for. This fall I decided to start being more strict on myself(and probably more responsible money wise too) and make better decisions about which I really want to play now and what can wait till a later date. Also cut the preorder part out as well. Don't see a point to it really anymore these days.

There's nothing wrong with having too many games under your belt. That's what I want as a gamer and I also want to play lots of underrated games.

I have a pretty decent collection of games for the PS3, PS4 and my computer. Before I even finish a game I've probably already bought a few in the process. I still have a few untouched that have been sitting around for years.

Same issue here. RPGs are the killer. So many that I want to play, but they take so long.

They really are. Older I get the less time I have to sink into them. Makes it so hard to pick and choose carefully.

You're not alone! I have the same problem too! I just keep buying them but have been too busy with work to start some of them up.
