It's expensive but it's definitely a great place to live. Never a dull day.

I really don't get when servers complain that they need to get tips so they can pay their bills. Err? How about not be a server and find another job that pays at least minimum wage hourly.

WorKing for tips? [Servers] Hoping to get more money quick than their fellow line cooks, busers, dishwashers, and janitors?

You are living in a fantasy if you think capitalism gives people a "choice"

Those pictures are so unrepresentative, it makes me want to cry. So much ignorance behind socialism and communism.

A balance between capitalism and democratic socialism can work. There shouldn't be a limit to what a person can earn, but they all need to pay their fair share of taxes. There are corporations, Wall Street, and billionaires paying little to no tax, and even some companies are getting a negative tax.

Letting people have that freedom to make their own businesses and succeed is a core American value that many people come here to pursue. Companies too often move their jobs overseas. If they do create American jobs, they are often low wage jobs, sending more people to get government assistance because they cannot live on that wage. There is too much greed by the 1% and too much complacency by the general population.

Income inequality is a huge issue, but it's not about a cap to what they make, it's about being fair to all Americans.

There should be no limit however it should be made easier to get a liveable wage.

As someone who is disabled and can't get a job expecting me to live off $1000 a month which doesn't even cover food and rent ....then pay for entertainment also is disgusting.

Alot of people in my situation cut corners eat unhealthy due to funds being short and pirate alot of things because there is nothing else we can do we can't work and expecting someone to sit home for 24 hours a day doing nothing is stupid

but yeah there should be no limit those who can work hard make there own money i just wish someone would think of those who can't make money

In the end we need to focus on minimum wages not limiting high wages....those who are given nothing and work and get nothing will turn to crime as it's the only way to move foward for some people poverty itself just causes homelessness and crime.

Honestly its there bosses job to pay them not the customer the customer is not inclined or does not need to give them a tip, a tip is reserved for hard work that left a good impression if they did a standard job they get no tip.

America needs to fix there servers problem instead of putting it onto the customer i know if i ever was to one day ever save up enough and come to America i wouldn't tip because personally i don't believe in that sort of system.
