OMG. I am so sorry that happened to you. :(

In recent years my flow has gotten heavier (and I've upgraded to super size during the heavier times), but I've only ever had slight spotting from a leak. Never anything like you experienced.

Yeah, I was eternally grateful when nobody said anything during the next class.

Granted, I use pads, and can't use tampons. The idea of inserting them never did sit well with me.

When I was dating someone, they would be surprised that I would offer a shelf in my bathroom closet for their tampons, pads etc. I was like "Hey, you have periods, you should be comfortable here and when you stop having periods, then we have to worry..."

I hate getting periods honestly. I have a heavy flow for the first few days of my period cycle so I always ending up leaking.

Here's one of my stories:

One time in middle school, I felt something wet on my chair. Took a peak and saw blood on my chair. I started panicking because I can feel a big wet part on my butt which means my period went through my pants and you can clearly see the blood on my ass. I decided to wait until everyone left the classroom when class was finished. After everyone left the classroom, my teacher was still there at her desk and she asked me why i haven't left yet. I was embarrassed and stayed silent then she got up and started walking towards me and kept asking what was wrong so I just told her that I have my period and it leaked through my pants and got the chair bloody. She told me it was alright and helped me clean the blood off the chair. Then she asked if I had an extra pair of pants and I said yes. I had track pants in my locker for gym class. She told me to change into that and then go to my next class. She gave me a few of her pads, I left and thanked her for her help. Thank God my teacher was a woman because if it was a man I wouldn't know what to do!!!!!!!!

After I changed my pants to my track pants I went to my next class late.. I walked in, and surprisingly, the teacher didn't ask why I was late. He just kept teaching the class. So I just sat down. I noticed that when I sat down, some people were staring at me and I heard whispers like "why is she late? What happened to her? And why did she change her pants.. Blah blah blah" I just didn't say anything and ignored it the whole time. Thank God that was the last class of the day because the moment that class was over I ran the fuck home.

School wasn't the only place I've leaked through my pants. I've leaked a few times in public places too like while riding the public bus and restaurants, in cars...lol I'm spreading my period blood everywhere it seems. Sorry!! I even wear overnight pads during the day because that's how heavy my flow is ugh. 7 days a month of this bullshit. Fuck periods!!!!!!!

The easiest way to filter out guys in your life is to look at their reactions to your period emergencies

I like how all the girls are being serious and pouring their hearts out, and all the younger guys are making fart jokes and all the 40+ guys are the only ones who are being considerate and supportive.
