I'd say my relationship with God is more personal than community

As a kid, my family TRIED to find a good church... but we never found one we
where satisfied with. Usually due to one of two things: "X denomination is wrong, and
all adherents are going to hell" was the main issue we kept having. (When I was young,
my parents taught me that I shouldn't judge another persons relationship with God)

The second problem was a lot of local churches did not allow
young children to attend the sermons, and my mom and dad
where very against that.

So, in the end I am very religious, but I am not exactly a church-person.
That could change if I sometime find a church i like, but I tend to enjoy less
formal forms of worship.

thanks for the comment XD
oh so the churches are quite different over there?

and to the others like I said the video below is just something extra to enjoy if you like it...

? well if you are going to take it like you did.
if not then the test he did was for both religious and non religious people, and to say who are more worried and does the religion effect how you feel like the god either is solving everything for you or that those without are more concerned about the future and maybe more on what people do like the gov, laws, groups etc.

I think in some cases, religion is necessary. Like criminals who turn to Jesus and never commit again.
Some people just don't have a working moral compass, they need some sort of dire consequence.
If you believe that doing something wrong equates to your soul burning for eternity, well.
Makes it easier to agree than disagree. That said, it shouldn't be that way really.
We should do what we do because we know it's right or wrong.
Not because a deity tells us so. It's... how do I say it?
I don't want to insult anyone, so I'll stop here.

Depends on how the religion goes, and for some criminals it would in some cases only enchant their view on crimes and would maybe commit one but more darker and hidden.

The relationship with God is more important than going to church. Many people go to church but they are empty inside and that's hypocrisy for me. The body is the church, you can speak with God anywhere.

I do believe in God, I believe he exists but I don't feel close to him I want to be close but I don't know how.

In sad situations people tell me to have faith but I don't know how to have faith. I keep on freaking out and worrying and when something bad happens I blame it on him. Sometimes I wish I was atheist but when I think like this I feel bad and very guilty. then I can only hope for his forgiveness, I never had a father so I want him to be my father and be able to feel him but nothing like that so far.

I think about the future a lot, I want to do many things like helping animals and kids but I feel this way because it's what I feel in my heart and not because I believe God exists. Actually, I'm afraid at knowing that God exists because sometimes I do things that most believers say it is not right.

Oh I don't go to church because it is full of hypocrites and I can't stand hypocrites I keep my beliefs to myself...but my mom says we need to go to church to hear the word and keep ourselves motivated and that it is important to socialize and learn from others, she says I shouldn't mind the people and go for God only so I have mix views about it. I would love to find a church I can feel content with.

Interesting video btw

Well they have given us reason to take care of things (old buildings etc, and that can contain a lot of info about past, texts, new languages and more) else not really much while we got Greeks doing all the maths and upgrading stuff while the others "hmm.. what would god do?"
meanwhile in greece
"Lets see now X == Y would be C okey that made sense now do this and get that rock right there yes, wow these guys really know how to build this stuff and its so amazing!"
