Instead of whining about the wealthy what are you doing to improve yourself?

Yes life isn't fair real groundbreaking ideas in that socialist comic. Still doesn't change the fact that people make it all the time in US coming from nothing.

Studying what i always do i work as hard as i can.

Even if you improve yourself and work as hard or even harder then someone who is rich you can easily still be poor.

It's not an attitude it's just being brutally honest of course you try your best but you can't logically say everyone who works hard enough makes it in life because that is far from true.

Some people are way to optimistic and like to delude themselves into thinking hard work is all it takes to get rich or well off.

If you think you are going to fail before you even set out you are going to fail. Thats not optimism thats common sense.

Some of the stats are stupid. Healthy food is expensive. TV is a cheaper source of entertainment compared computers and game systems etc. Some poor don't have phones on hand for Happy Birthday calls lmao. This survey is biased as fuck already.

I've had my life handed to me well. Sure I worked hard. I studied hard. I was the first in my family to go to college and a university, but I still had security behind it all. Well, aside from the time my Dad was laid off. Anyway, point is, I'm spoiled and I recognize it. The problem is when people don't notice those little things that make it easier to get those opportunities.

So when a guy climbs a hill in his backyard and turns and tells the guy next to him, "Wow that wasn't so bad! You can climb Mt. Everest if you try hard enough like I did, buddy". Just, lol. It's not impossible, but it isn't easy. Dismissing the lack of opportunities laid out for them to make such a trek feasible is simplify self gratifying. There ought to be more opportunities. Like holy hell, has no one noticed that even scholarships are purposely made difficult to find and many you can find are scams? There's all sorts of problems that keep people where they're at and make it difficult to climb out of the hole. Throwing food, water and change down the hole for them doesn't make life in the hole much better, some want out.

A quote from someone I know stuck in a "hole":

you need a job to earn experience, but need experience to get a job
you need a car for work, but work to pay for a car

Yeah, some don't mind life in the "hole" and are not struggling to get out of it, but people stick their thumb in their mouth and like to pretend there isn't people that do want out.

I thought you weren't a liberal? Just because life is not a level playing field doesn't mean success is impossible for those at the bottom.

Well no one said i or others think we are going to fail but to tell yourself i am going to be successful is deluding yourself there is always a chance you will fail and you just have to keep trying again.

Still even so making it far in life money wise isn't something you can gain with just hard work if it was then alot more people would be rich heck i would be set for life.

To say working hard itself will bring you far in life and make you succeed is deluding yourself there are far more variables that attribute to whether or not you are successful become rich etc some of them out of your own control.

I don't mean to be rude, but who really cares OP. rich are not greater then the poor, and the poor are not greater then the rich.
Amount of money is not proportional to the quality of life. MOST people are stuck up dicks, they spend most of their life being negative and existing negatively.

Fuck, this is the perfect example of humans trying to be better then one another. socialistic systems work, it's proven. Capitalism doesn't really have any ground to sit on, look at US for example. 14 trillion debt. and other capitalistic countries are also falling in debt

There is a concept of having too much money. taxing the rich way more then the middle class/poor makes a lot of sense, especially when they have enough to go around.

Tl;dr OP doesn't know what he's talking about.

I'm an Independent. You do realize that a lot of Republicans even donate to charity because it's not a matter of hating or dismissing that people need help sometimes right!?
