I rewrote the summary for INUGAMI'S CURSE. Please give me your opinion of which one is better.

VERSION (1)
Abigail is an unlucky girl. To make things worse, she and her family are members of a religious cult that gives Divine Retribution to disobedient members. The story begins when Abigail takes in a stray dog she names Shippo and hides it from her parents. While her parents are out of town, she sneaks to the circus where Shippo runs amuck. Chasing him to a nearby park, Abigail accidentally stumbles over a boy, Ciel Funkhauser, bound to the ground. His twin Claude stands summoning Inugami. Cursed by Inugami Ciel and Shippo spirit swap bodies, but Abigail gradual turns into a wolf.

Claude assumes Ciel’s identity to take control over the family fortune while Ciel, lost in the slums, must regain the memory of his true identity. In spite of her own fears and prejudice Abigail seeks help from unexpected sources to find Ciel so the curse can be broken and she can escape Divine Retribution. However, things go horribly wrong.

IUNGAMI’S CURSE deals with religion, racism, intolerance, and greed in a comical, creative narrative. The novel makes uses of the ancient Japanese folklore of Inugami, a dog spirit that looks identical to a dog or wolf and is controlled by sorcerers to use in nefarious deeds.
