Dragonball
Edit: to clarify I mean Dragonball where Goku is a kid. It's easier for a kid to relate and like a show if the main character is closer to his age just a little tip for ya.

Try pretty much any Gibli movie except Princess Mononoke and Grave of the Fireflies

Really? I don't see how Yoko massive tits bouncing out of her bra, Nia's nude scenes, the YorkNew, Chimera Ant arcs and Hisoka's entire character are appropriate for a 4 year old at all. Dragon Ball is pretty sketchy too.

Yes, I'm quite serious, though I must admit I'm not the best role model. If anything OP watch these shows beforehand and decide for yourself.

I agree with previous posts about Kemono no Souja Erin and most Studio Gibli films, especially My Neighbor Totoro.
If you don't mind looking outside of Crunchyroll, I recommend looking into anime from the 80's and 90's. Up until the early 2000's, there are a lot of quality kid-friendly series. And sadly, there are very few anime from recent years that can be considered appropriate for young children.

Akage no Anne (1979) and its prequel Konnichiwa Anne: Before Green Gables (2009) are based on the Anne of Green Gables novels, great for younger kids.

Some other great kid's anime series:
Doraemon (1970's-2005) a very long series about an alien robot cat and his friends-a bunch of grade school kids.
Ikkyu-san (1975) child Buddhist monk and his clever antics
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1980) based on the classic novel
Chibi Maruko-chan (1990's) slice of life comedy
Moomin (1990) based on a children's book, about a family of trolls and their friends

How can I watch these anime if they are not on crunchy roll? Are they on youtube or another site? Thanks.
