Singers fall a collective 8 times during performance, keep going
Posted 9/8/15 , edited 9/8/15
Korean girl group G-friend were playing in Seoul when members SinB and Yuju fell a collective eight times due to a slippery stage floor. They kept getting up and singing along, obviously flustered, but doing what they need to do.

Read a kind of lame Time article about it here ---> http://time.com/4024228/k-pop-gfriend-fall-korea-yuju/

Listen to the original song here ----> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-CKVr6Z1Tw

Well at least they were ultra professional about it and kept going. Must have been embarrassing as hell for the girls though.

I saw it this morning but couldn't continue watching after the third or fourth fall. I felt really bad and cringed too much. Nothing new in K-Pop though. There's always articles about someone from a group being professional in an unfortunate situation. Not trying to denounce the recognition though. If it were me, I'd either laugh out of frustration or try to hold back the tears.

the embarrassing footage will probably give them more publicity, which in turn could result in more profit.
they have to keep going because it's their job (though having a poorly maintained floor to perform doesn't help)

It felt like they kept slipping in the same areas. I think the problem was the stage.

True professionalism there. But am I the only one that's wondering why there's so many moths flying around?

They might have kept going, but some heads are going to roll of the peeps who are responsible for the stage...

Reminds me of that one ice skater who lost her panties during a performance, but she continued the performance until the end and just dealt with it.

That Time article is pretty stupid and bad.

They need to make the stages safer for kpop singers. This crap has happened a surprising amount of times before. To SNSD too.

These poor girls are tiny, they can seriously injure themselves if they end up falling more severely. Like, you have to consider just how thin they are and the bruises that could result from a fall. I have really banged up legs and I'm not as tiny as them because I constantly knock my knees around into things.

They were tough to keep going, had no other choice. Stage staff needs to make conditions safer onstage. Like, put something down or clean up anything slippery before a perf starts.

What, do non-Koreans not injure themselves when falling? I think this video is evidence that it's okay for them fall; They just bounce.

Honestly if I was a fan I would hate to see themselves just pretend like nothing is wrong. I wouldn't have minded if they stopped the show so they could fix the problem
