I'm cool with fanservice as long as it's enjoyable and doesn't interfere with the show's plot, or if that's what they show is based around

If it's something like To Love-Ru, fan service is kind of the point.

Other shows, not so much. Excessive fan service can derail the story and ruin an otherwise good show.

I think the amount of fanservice that works is definitely based on the type of anime it is. With an anime like Say I Love You or My Lie in April, even a little bit of fan service could hurt the shows integrity; but with something like Prison School, Shimoneta, Seitokei Yakuindomo or MM! the show can use all the fanservice they can fit without damaging it at all.

No, I am a perv so I like fanservice.

And I notice that a lot/most people who complain about "excessive" T&A in their animus are feminists, so I never take it seriously I don't care if they don't like it, I am I and I like what I like and I go to cons with friends who also like it~ So it's all fine, to each their own!

Not for us perverts, it's not. Although, it can feel out of place, or unnaturally tacked on, more often than I'd like.

I feel like a lot of the time it feels like there has to be one episode of fanservice every now and again, like a contractual obligation. It happens in Manga (noticeably once an Anime gets commissioned there is suddenly a "beach trip" event) as well as games (The "embarrassing moment" in DanganRonpa 2 for example). It bothers me less when it's self referential, characters react in DanganRonpa 2 by exclaiming that it's fanservice as do characters in Nabeshin anime
