Crunchyroll already has the first season so it's only natural that they pick up the second, unless Funimation wants to start a fight.

Which is the very reason I have my doubts.

Considering the publisher on here is actually "Funimation" makes things interesting.
CR did everything that was required eg removing it when the Blu ray/Tv release was on. So there is no you didn't do this rah.
You would think if funimation truly hated CR that they would have removed season 1 by now.

Since it is a popular show for both services I would say yes it would likely be on here too.

Attack on titan high school edition will be the test though. If that shows is on here then I would say for sure.

Until all the i's are dotted and the t's crossed in 2016 it's only going to be speculation from anyone though.

As I understand it, FUNimation has already licensed the second season. At this point it's just a case of whether they let CR sub-licence it off them or whether CR gets it for non-English speaking territories.

From what I've heard, Crunchyroll got simulcast rights from Japanese distributor Kodansha for multiple territories, and then later, when they expired, negotiated with FUNimation to keep the show up in North America and the British Isles. So the series didn't originally come from FUNimation, as some are suggesting.

Maybe I was a bit wrong. My head doesn't like remembering things. Specially things I couldn't watch or really cared about at the time.

The territories have always been the same. US/CAN/UK/IRE . http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-04-13/crunchyroll-also-streams-attack-on-titan-tv-anime

If CR had it's own license why didn't they go after more regions? That is kinda strange not too. South Africa, Non english Europe etc. The show was popular enough which makes you think like most shows on here was a sub license who holder being funimation. Everyone that has it was Funimations English speaking regions. (Australia and New Zealand where on there own site at the time)

I will say the fact CR ended up getting episodes before Funimation seems strange as well which would disprove it....

CR has several stuff ups when it comes to publishers and even incorrectly listed regions. So I personally wouldn't trust any of if lives where in danger. lol

CR normally keep existing shows by publishers mentioned even if they completely lost the rights everywhere.
Where as AoT is not mentioned on Kodansha's page. So this kinda backs up that it was incorrectly labeled originally. Maybe they didn't want to know that funimation and CR where friends lol.

Either way it will likely end up the same for S2. :)
