Hi There,

I have looked at the settings and couldn't find one so asking here :)

Is there a possibility of an account having their forum access disabled?

For Parental Control. I assume there is the ability since some people might need to be banned, but would it be possible to have your own account locked out of the forums?

Thankyou

Bans can prevent people from posting to forums, but there's no way to stop people from reading the forums (it wouldn't make sense with the way things are now since you can read forums without being logged in.)

My account isn't blocked :)

I would want to voluntary block an account from viewing the forum, although banning the account from posting might work if that would be possible.

Requesting a ban should still be possible, as I recall a user that used to do that from time to time (for some reason).

As you noted, however, that only prevents posting.

To prevent either, the best approach would probably be if you had a router that could filter http://www.crunchyroll.com/forum, but not other parts of crunchyroll.com. Even that wouldn't prevent someone from viewing it via a device with a 3G or 4G connection, or when connected elsewhere, of course.

Thanks, I'll have a look at what's capable with the router.
