So for the past few years I've had to focus on academics pretty heavily and the onslaught of more modern games (despite most being AAA multiplatform trash) and I've missed probably hundreds of good shows. I've heard good things about Nisekoi, but it's a show that I've held in my backlog for some time, and I was able to get myself Crunchyroll premium around this time, so I want to know if it's worth the 32 episodes or so. I've heard of mixed reactions and thoughts of the show and I'm looking for genuine opinions.

It's actually my favorite harem of all-time due to the sheer unpredictability of it. Everyone involved is lovable in their own way, they all get their time to shine and most importantly there's not one character who comes off without a personality. I think the unique part is that just as much as it's a harem it's an off the wall comedy. I've watched the entire thing and honestly still haven't solidly planted myself in any camp to ship (although I'm leaning to Team Tsugumi) . That all said and done, it's actually more than 32 episodes so far. There have been 4-5 OVA released with another 3 announced as coming this year (which means the show has the longevity they want it to have). I wouldn't be surprised to see season 3 announced soon.

Hard to guess if it's likely to be worth it to you, with no sense of what else you like, but I think it's lots of fun, and also looks really good (I love Shaft). In fact I'd previously started reading the manga, liked it, but got bored and stopped after a while. Watching the anime renewed my interest and now I'm back to reading the manga again.

If you want a satisfying conclusion within 10 years don't watch it.

Avoid it if:
- You want a satisfying conclusion sometime soon.
- You don't like harem comedies.
- You only like harem comedies if they ramp the ecchi up to 11.
- You hate tsunderes.

If none of those conditions apply, there is a good chance that you'll like the show: it's funny, the art and animation are above average, the set-up is done well. and it has some memorable characters.
