Well I'm not at all knowledgeable abut this particular category, so right now all I can really vouch for are two very good shows:

Space Battleship Yamato

and

Gurren Lagann



I'm not voting for AZ due to my strong dislike for the second half.

I feel like Gundam is at a huge disadvantage here since there are so many different Gundam series. Someone who votes for Zeta may not necessarily like Wing or vise versa.

It'd actually be an advantage, wouldn't it? Since it combines all the votes for all the Gundams under one tag.

I just wasn't going to vote for the ones I disagreed with, if I vote. But I can see the need of being inclusive.

It's kind of depressing really, how few literal space operas there are (outside the Gundam conglomerate anyway).
