This would be a super great feature for marathoners, but also to reduce the nuisance of having to manually skip these segments on every episode.

Definitely! Especially on the older anime, like One Peace and Eyeshield, while I love the intros, sometimes those couple of minutes is just too much.

And while you're at it, please fix the skip back/forward bugs on the Android app. Once you skip, the next skip takes you back to the previous skip position - the playhead gets out of sync somehow. This makes skipping credits even more of a chore.

I think the player as a whole needs an overall fix. It's pretty buggy and slow.

But yeah!! this is a great idea and several sites already do this, even if its just a button; but some apps/streaming services already do this for example in netflix the intros are skipped by default. If you really wish to watch them you can go back manually but most people don't after several episodes.

This is such a crucial feature that I can't understand why there isn't more support on this thread but you've got mine!

They do this and add a working auto play button and I would have very little issues with CR.

+1

I've only started watching One Piece (I know, I know) and it'd be great if I could have it auto-play every episode skipping reviews/opening credits and then unless there's a post-credit scene just play the next episode from where the title appears, then I could just binge comfortably. I know it'd be a lot of work, not even Netflix does this for all its shows but it would make such a huge difference to how I enjoy Crunchyroll.
