2. Kurumi has been their unshakable strength since being forced to kill the boy she loved. She found it to be her duty to protect the other survivors because she was too late to protect him. She thought herself unshakable until being hit by a Taroumaru/Megu-nee one-two punch, getting bitten in the process. Now she's actually proving her strength by fighting the turn.

This right here is a big factor as to why she is probably my fav of the girls. I've liked her a lot since the second episode.

Miki is close though. I go back and forth between them, even if they are pretty much opposites.

What surprised me was the fact I don't actually have a favorite for this anime (a complete rarity as usually I find a best girl and stick with her). All of them are so well thought out and crafted that they all almost feel 3D to me.

Yep I feel similarly, but just her dedication and bravado makes her the pack leader to me at leat.

Easily understandable . You're right on the money in that fact.

Yes you are quite correct neugenx. All the characters have their own internal struggles and issues coping and as you pointed out that is coming to the fore even more now that Kurumi got bitten and the zombies broke through. The good times (well as good as they can get considering the situation) are over.

I was actually kind of shocked that Yuri was looking at using that knife though. It's also rather interesting that zombie Megu-nee still holds some memories considering she's been "writing" in her journal. Of course that was pointed out in earlier episodes where the zombies get out of the rain, "run" around the track, come to and leave school and do things they sort of remember doing. They aren't exactly walking dead but it makes you wonder if they are completely without hope or if there is no chance of curing anybody (outside of Kurumi...or at least I hope they cure her). Of course considering that if everyone is curable, would you want to be cured if you held any memories of what you were doing while zombified? I wouldn't.

Those girls are going to be having some interesting times soon...interesting for us, crappy for them of course.

I never once thought of the possibility that the turned could possibly be turned back and what effect it would have on them. You raise a very good point Lordhaw and one I wouldn't be surprised if we see in the anime/manga. The creator obviously is one to go wayyyy out of the box.

Well, usually in zombie shows they are literally walking dead or are more of a living dead kind of thing. This show I think leans more towards the living dead idea because they are alive but infected (except for those introduced to Shovel). But it was a biological warfare agent that caused this so being essentially a disease one would think it's curable in some fashion, at the beginning if nothing else. So there may be hope for Kurami. It'd be nice if a fully infected person could be cured but no real idea if that is possible or not. I thought it was an intriguing idea though.

I have no doubt at least the main four will be even if the rest of the world ends up dead.

Though that is a pretty depressing kind of ending too if just these four are all that is left.

In some ways yes as it'll obviously be the end of the world but as an immediate thing it'll be a sisterhood thing worth being happy over. Even just 4 survivors are still survivors. Any survivors are a good thing.

I see your point of view but for me...guess I like the whole hope for humanity sort of ending. Thinking long term I guess. But you are right in the immediate sense...at least they are together.

If you watch the end song , the end is there.

I thought the plot was good.
This kind of story telling actually works well in a stage play but in anime form, they made it cute and moe, they made you like the characters ,feel for them , hope for them ,and sad for them as the story ends.
Thats what the writer is aiming for.

But with this kind of anime,
I will only watch once .

in my opinion the plot is just messy but i do hope if they do have a season 2 they make a better more neat plot now think it this way imagine your in the same situation your not gonna go with a plot your going to try to stay alive that's all but there are more bad plots than what you say are bad
