I have been trying, repeatedly, since the 4th to find out what the hell is going on with my account. I have talked to about 5 different customer service reps and none of them have even finished conversations with me via support. I am beyond livid.

On the 4th I signed up for this account via the www.crunchyroll.com/lootcrate promotion. I paid using my PayPal account. I have neither received my 30 day membership nor my LootCrate code. I keep getting told that it was my fault that it didn't work out, that I must have typed something in wrong. If I did indeed type something in wrong, then why was I able to successfully log in to my PayPal Account and agree to the membership subscription? If I did type something wrong then why is this account going to the correct email? I find it odd that I can do something right twice, yet still be told I did something wrong.

I contacted Customer Support via their link on Friday, September 4th, the day the promotion started, and inquired about why my stuff wasn't working, why I didn't have my membership and why I didn't have a LootCrate code. They told me they found a problem with the LootCrate codes and that they would be sent out on Tuesday. Great, I said. But what about my 30 day membership? That guy never answered back, so I naively waited until Tuesday. Still no results, so I attempt to get answers again.

I still haven't received my LootCrate and I still don't have my 30 day membership. Oh, well let us know if you haven't received it by Friday and we'll see what's going on. Don't worry about the promotion's end date, we'll solve your issues.

Friday comes, still no code and still no 30 day membership. Obviously the Contact Us link isn't working out for me, so I come here to the forums and explain all of this. The rep that answered me told me that I never signed up for the promotion but that she'd give me a 14 day guest pass. Never heard from her again.

Saturday. I again post on the forums and get a hold of yet another representative who tells me the exact same thing as the other rep, minus the guest pass thing. Again, my response was ignored.

Tell me, who the hell do I have to talk to in order to get all of this sorted out? Why do I keep getting jerked around? Why do I need to keep making these posts to resolve this issue? A competent customer service rep would have solved this issue on the very first day, so tell me, why do I keep getting ignored?

I also have pictures of all of the emails between the support staff and myself, should proof be required.

Hello terradj,

I don't see any records of you signing up for the 30 day lootcrate trial. You can even check yourself by going to your Premium history page:

https://www.crunchyroll.com/acct?action=membership_history

I checked and went over your emails to support to see if I can search with your billing information, but the only account I found was the one below:

ch******ra@*****.com

Which did not have any trials linked to it before it was deleted. If you did sign up for a trial, you would have received a trial email confirming your signup as a Premium Member. Can you forward that to us? Without that, there's no records of you signing up for any trial, not even a 14 day trial let alone a lootcrate one.

I forwarded the email I got to [email protected]

I just noticed my account is connected to my PayPal. How would that happen if I didn't sign up for the free trial or make any purchases?


Edit: Just tried to do the 14 day trial to see if it would work and it said "Payment method already used." I deleted my payment method from my account and tried again, still told me "Payment method already used."


Edit #2: Just got this message in my email:

To manage your Billing Agreement, log in to your PayPal account, go to your Profile, and click My money. You can choose your payment method and, if you wish, cancel your Billing Agreement in the "My preapproved payments" section.
