What size of dog do you prefer?

I like medium sized ones, I think they're better tempered and more active than some small breeds, but not as hard to manage as some of the larger ones.

Really depends on the breed, generally medium or large.

medium to large, I especially love the breeds that other people think are 'dangerous' like huskies.

My whole life, larger dogs have always been more friendly. Realizing that they're small can make some dogs aggressive, so I have only ever met one or two small dogs that were actually friendly. Although they come with more challenges, I just like them better. I've been around so many dogs, but the only time I was bit was by a small one, and it was because I was walking to the bathroom in my friend's house. The dog was anxious about anyone who wasn't part of the family, so I guess she was nervous about me moving around the house on my own. It wasn't a real bite, just a warning nip, because it didn't hurt any worse than the cat bites I was used to.

In contrast, when I was a child I slipped while walking down the stairs at my best friend's house and her rottweiler sat in front of me. I was a little embarrassed and surprised that I had slipped, so I didn't stand up right away. My best friend's mom called over to me and told me that I needed to tell the dog that I was okay because she was defending me. I told the dog I was okay and she left again, but it really stuck with me. This dog was willing to defend me from her own family. A dog who looks out for other people's children is amazing. She was a sweetheart the rest of the time that I knew her, so it was surprising to know that she even had that side to her.

Greyhound sized. Going by weight is useless. Greys are fairly lightweight, despite their size, and "race weight" is a monkey-wrench.

I like huskies, grew up around a lot of huskies, and took care of a lot of husky puppies. I would rather prefer a animal closer to it's wild progenitor than say a chihuahua, there just more badass and could very well help me out in a pinch if necessary. So all in all Larger breeds.

I have no preference. As long as they're wuvable and loyal companions, they're my kind of dog.

I like really tiny canines. It's really adorable when you call their names and then they bark at you, while wagging their tails.

I really like small dogs. They are just cute and fun to play with, all while you can hold them in your arms. At the very least, I went with small sized dogs because all dogs start out that way.
