So rather recently I acquired a new phone (LG G4 for those who are curious) and i've been learning the ropes of all it's features and whatnot and one of the most noticeable of these said features is it's camera app. It's fairly extensive and has a lot of parameters that you can mess with when taking a photo. LG has gotten a lot of praise for all the work that they put into the camera on this phone and it's actually the reason most people purchase it rather than a different, nicer phone.

But here's the thing, I hardly ever take pictures...

Anymore, it is almost mandatory that someone within a group of people have a device on them that is capable of taking pictures. More than half of social media is composed of photography of some sort, with several sites dedicated solely to the sharing of these pictures. I have a snapchat and receive videos and pictures from my friends all the time about the most trivial of things, and i'm not saying that i don't enjoy them. It just never occurs to me when or where i should pull out my phone to take a snapshot of the world. The most extensively i'll use my camera is to take maybe 3 good pictures at a concert but those photos will be the only ones in my library for the next several months.

So how about Crunchyroll? How many of you are big phone photographers? (or genuine photographers for that matter) What makes you want to take out your camera and capture a moment?

Do selfies count?

Probably not. Nah, I do actually take pics of other things. Mostly aesthetically pleasing things.

Hi! honestly I'm not a big picture taker. I have galaxy Note 4 which has a really good camera (imo) but I'm not a selfie person. I have an Instagram tho, so I like to document things that my friends will like, or things I think are cool/ interesting. . I post pictures of my dog, my longboard, my kicks too. I'm planning on taking a lot of pics cuz imma be attending Irations "hotting up" tour this weekend.

While I am not a huge picture taker, I do like to take pictures when I have the opportunity to and something that's memorable and worth pulling my phone or point and shoot camera out of my pocket or shoulder bag. This summer, I bought a point and shoot camera for a trip but most of my photo shooting were done on my phone. Click the spoiler button if you are interested in some of my works.

I spent a bunch of money on a nice Nikon camera and a bunch of really nice lenses... Then film died and digital cameras are damned spendy.... I finally broke down and spent the money on a digital camera....

I take more pictures with my phone....

I usually carry a relatively inexpensive digital camera with me when I go out, so I can photo things I want to note, copy text, or just photo things that seem aesthetic, so I take a lot of pictures. I don't post many photos, but I do use them to illustrate articles and you never know when a kind of random photo might become useful. I'd like to learn to use a high-quality film camera, but they seem complicated and I would probably run out of film too quickly.

I have a Samsung SIII. This is my camera and I've used extensively to photograph what strikes interest to me such as flowers, landscapes, trees, and so forth. I even use it to photograph the night sky. In the past I had a digital camera but it is not as sharp or define as my Samsung SIII. The only thing that an actual digital camera can do that my Samsung SIII cannot really well, it to take pictures of the landscape while I am driving.

Well, well, well. I'm glad to see you took that picture of Kumamon near the Shiyakusho (City Hall) in Kumamoto. *Wiggly eyebrows*
