I feel like it's something adolescences use to sound cool "Ew you eat school lunch." granted up until i was in 8th grade I was like that too but now that i'm not in school and there is no such thing as a free lunch errr i miss the free school lunch a bit :'3
School lunch isnt the best food ever but it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

If you don't like it please state your age. This isn't to make you look bad, but i think it's usually younger people that think it's bad, maybe i'm mistaken

In my schools we didnt have school lunch. We also ate in the classroom.

It wasn't until high school that I bought lunches. I don't remember anyone ever seeing it as bad. Might just be a regional thing.

Our high school had lots of lunch options.
They had pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and tacos.

I ate school lunches.

I don't remember them as being particularly bad.

When I was in middle school. They undercooked or overdid everything. Now I just eat after it.

Depends on who cooks and what they "use"...
But we never had such things, agian what we had was only fruits in our nation, not hot food.

In elementary school, I'd occasionally eat their lunch. I recall them having a pretty decent beef stew and, of course, the flatbread pizza was good as well.

In junior high and high school, the lunch consisted of pizza, tater tots and a chocolate chip cookie. How that was deemed as being nutritional is anyone's guess. High school, because it was a closed campus, had Taco Bell on site. But even then, I think I might have bought lunch maybe once or twice during my time there. I would usually being salads to school.

Before Jamie Oliver came along and ruined everything, I loved school lunch.

I had free lunch at school and my family was poor, so I usually ate there. The food, while not all of it was horrible, was pretty bad. My school also didn't have heavy funding, so that could have something to do with the food quality. I would honestly say our pizza was borderline cardboard.

We didn't have much variety either. It was pretty much pizza every day or a low quality cheese burger. lol This was mostly high school though. I remember elementary school and middle school being somewhat decent.

I'm 21, by the way.

I always brought my own lunch from home from K through 8.

High School we actually had plenty of options daily and those were generally decent actually.

The school was also only a 10 minute walk to the gas station that was pretty much its own mini mart.

Though we were not meant to walk there as it was "against the rules" we usually did anyway and neither the teachers, school security, or administration put up a fuss about it. Hell sometimes they would go with you..

School lunch was never free for me, so nothing to miss there. I ate school lunch through 7th grade then in 8th grade started bringing my own lunch and only ate school lunch when it was one of my favorites. Mostly I just brought my own lunch to give myself more time to eat, not because I didn't like the food, and most people ate school lunch. However, I did dislike the cafeteria food at my university. It seemed like most people didn't really like it. I just bought my own groceries, which was cheaper anyway.

I ate them up until high school when I became more picky with my food and thought their food was kinda gross. I only ate on of those big soft pretzels up until 11th grade when they let you leave the school to eat lunch. From what I've told that's no longer allowed at my old high school after someone was hit by a car.

Yeah I generally ate the school lunch. When ever they were serving something I didn't like I would just not eat or bring my own lunch ahead of time.
