My father says he left the home country so that his kids would never have to sleep outside

I've been camping over and over, because my mum loves it. In a carvan, in a tent, etc. I would like it if it weren't for the fact you can never get comfortable ever. You're constantly always tired, slightly damp and cold.

I like to stay in a camper or somewhere with electricity and running water, which a lot of people wouldn't consider camping.

If it's just in a tent, I can usually only tolerate one night. I'm very sensitive to bug bites and they love to bite me. :c

I've been camping once.

I will never go camping again.

I love getting out in the wilderness, although I dont use tents anymore, all about the hammocks.

Sadly the group I used to go with hasn't gone in a while and I cant get a group to go with that I know.

Camping and hiking is the best! Fresh air and tons of time to enjoy everything you could not otherwise. Technology is amazing but sometimes I feel we get so worked up over it we forget the simple things about life.

There's a certain charm to camping, though I've gotten to the point where I need some support for my back as I sleep. Maybe a camper with a nice, lumbar-supporting bed would do the trick.

Me and my BF recently talked about where we'd like to go to spend our first vacation together. He told me about a cabin on a lake. That sounds breathtaking and very memorable. So if I had to go anywhere, I'd like to go to some place like that. Very scenic, quiet with at least some wildlife around. I want to take pictures.

I used to camp a lot, just not anymore. I liked the tranquility and feeling of distance from everything else in the world.

I prefer to completely disconnect from the outside world. A sleeping bag, basic survival tools, fishing gear, and some freeze dried food as a back up.

When camping in the mountains of West Virginia black bears are entirely possible, but have never been personally bothered by one.

The mosquitoes love me too much, so camping is difficult.

When I was younger, I went camping with my guide group in tents. No one told me that I was supposed to spray my face with the bug spray.... they thought I had chicken pox the next morning - it was that bad. I'm always the first to be bitten by mosquitoes in a group. Always.
