Today I was at Duane Reade buying snacks one guy there getting also (something full of tray)
he was looking around that nobody is seeing it, he take it goes outside of the store (like nothing happen) i was there and couldn't do anything, I couldn't even tell the sales person that the guy is stealing.

Do you think I should tell the sales person?

You should totally be a vigilante and take law into your own hands and stop him!

Nah, but seriously. You should always tell someone if you see someone steal.

Yeah, sure, if you have the guts to. I'm a shy person, so I don't have it in me to do something as bold.

Well it's too late now innit? You really ought to have said something then. People stealing from the store causes problems for everyone else.

I'm probably going to get some flack for this, but if someone stole in front of me in a store I probably wouldn't do anything. I don't really know why a person is stealing. If it's petty theft then It's not worth my time to really do something about it, they have there own reasons that are completely unknown to me. But that's just me If you feel inclined to stop or notify someone of theft then by all means do so. I'm by no means advocating stealing stuff by the way.

If someone is stealing from a stranger or a friend then that's a different story.

To answer your question if you felt inclined to do so yes you should of.

Should have made a vine and yelled "Oooh he stealin!"

But idk, I don't think you necessarily had to stop the person yourself. Probably should have spoke to an employee though.

It depends on the situation. I probably wouldn't stop someone from stealing food. Who knows what their situation is? When I used to work at a grocery store I caught kids trying to steal liquor a few times though.

I probably wouldn't notice it in the first place since I'm always lost in my own little world, but if I did, I probably wouldn't do anything about it. It's their own choice--if they want to wreck their life, I don't care. (I'm a bit of a jerk in that I don't much care about others and/or their feelings.)

I don't think you're wrong or right whether you say something or not,
its understandable why someone wouldn't want to get involved
i personally probably would have said something depending on my mood XP
