I was wondering is it possible for programmer to add a comment by top right outside of chat box telling us that we have posted this "dated" and pages number.. especially when we got over 100 pages! XD

I just made a post on the Topic few moment ago, and I realized I already made old posts few month ago heh XD. That why I wanted to make this suggestion.

Can be a alert letting us know that we had posted on this topic in the past and tell us page numbers.. So we can read what we posted, and may want to add more to it of course in new post. :p

I believe you can look at your profile cr points and it should give you a link to the threads you've posted on. Not the best of solutions but best we have atm.

I wouldn't mind something that you suggested though.

Hi there,

I'm moving this to the Suggestions subforum so that the programmers can see this easier.
Personally, I don't think this is a bad idea at all.

If the search function is finally working properly again, you can type in:

user:your_username

to the search box under the black bar at the top of the thread you are in (not the show search box)

So yours would look like this:

user:JanusCascade

This only works for your own id; you can't look for other users this way.

This only work if you created a topic? Or can it show all of the posts you posted in the past? I noticed it only show like 3 post out of 50!

Here what it show (copy and pasted)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Search within category:
and subcategory: and sort by:
Forum Topic Results

Sorry, there were no results
Forum Post Results

Search is not very discerning. It always tries to return two sets of results no matter where you start.

The first section is for any topics it finds, the "Forum Topic Results" would have thread titles if you are at a high enough level. Then under that, the "Forum Post Results" will have individual posts, if they exist.

So if you do a search starting at a higher forum level (where you see a bunch of thread titles, not posts) you may or may not get results for both sections, but you will only get results for "Forum Topics" if you created any threads in the hierarchy below the point where you started the search.

If you do a search starting within an individual thread though, you would only get back posts from that specific thread (in the second section) as you pasted in your second post in this thread.

Or at least that's how it should be working. I"m not sure what to say about only a result showing 3 out of 50. That might be because of where you were in the forums when you started a search somewhere else?

You will likely get many more results if you start at the top. From here you should get both topic results and post results.

There may be too many posts returned at this point to be very useful, but your thread titles are what are important at the top levels.

Depending on where you post most often, you would get less or even none if you started the search (for example) here, lower in the forum hierarchy. Start a search from the "Help" section: http://www.crunchyroll.com/forumcategory-394638/help

Again you should find both Forum topics, and posts, but fewer of both.

As you go down it further narrows your results.
/forumcategory-391026/suggestions-feedback

From there you would still see both forum and post results, probably less than above, but maybe not if you only posted in this section and none of the rest.

And finally, If you do the same search again within in this specific thread

Since you have made a second post here, you should now see both of the individual posts you made returned. Nothing would be returned for the Forum titles, similar to your paste result above, but now with one more post result.
