Everything is an opinion? But if everything is an opinion, then so is the fact 'everything is an opinion'; A statement that subjectively contradicts itself? This is some odd Catch-22 buddy

A fact is a statement that can be proven true or false. An opinion is an expression of a person's feelings that cannot be proven. Opinions can be based on facts or emotions and sometimes they are meant to deliberately mislead others.

If you want to get really, really obnoxious, you can go so far as to say that human perception can't be proven to be thorough enough to guarantee definitive, absolute proof of anything, that everything is an opinion as a result of our limited perception. Basically, since our senses are so limited, things we hold to be factual are impossible to completely verify. There's a chance, however remote, that we are going to be wrong about any given thing and that there will be the inevitable outlier. But I guess this is also an opinion, and it's not a very practical viewpoint when it comes to having to actually live life every day.

You can test whether the Law of Gravity is just a scientific "opinion" by using the roofs of any of your local buildings.

In court, in order to discredit a witness' statement you have to get someone professional / with higher fields of study to disapprove it.

E.g.,
Prosecutor's Witness 1: It looked like the marks on her neck came from the assailant's nails as he choked the victim.

Defendant's witness: No. ThOse marks are from insect bites, due to the fact that the victim's body was in the water tank for long periods of time.

Yes, I believe everything is an opinion. A fact is an educated opinion that can be proved within set guidelines/perimeters. Take away those guidelines the the facts are not that substantial. That's why there's that saying "Think outside of the box".

You can't be 100% right all the time.
