I'm amazed by how connected the world has become because of technology.
It blows my mind I can read what's happening all over the world in a matter of minutes

Yes. I imagined that I was 5 years old again and compared the technology from back then to what we have now. The difference is just tremendous.

I'm constantly amazed by it. It's so fascinating to see how far we have come.

I am amazed by technology because it connects and intertwines the world together beyond paper and pen. Humankind can communicate with billions of people worldwide through various methods. In addition, technology has made information readily available; however, the reliability of the sources degraded other than .edu, .gov, and .com (article / magazines related). Not only has technology increase the pros of lifestyles, it also increase the cons of living the good lifestyle due to terms of agreement (TOS) in exchange for giving up your privacy. Furthermore, it amazes me with the rapid growth of technology, it also caused rapid growth of privacy invasion (Windows 10 or Public Records for background check for examples).

I have a love and hate thing for technology because it increases the efficiency for both good and bad people throughout the world. Many non-tech savvy people stereo typically classify "hackers" as the evil-doers without knowing that there are two different types known as (White Hat and Black Hat). The black hat are more or less the bad ones; however, understand that without White Hat hackers, then anti-hacking counter measures will not be as effective.

Technology is amazing on the extreme side such as getting into space, renewable energy, health care, and conquering air, land and water.

Just my two cents.

I think this is the greatest thing about technology advancement so far.

A good example: Yesterday, I spoke to a good friend of mine on the phone for 2 and a half hours, using handsfree. During the conversation, I went from drinking a latte in a coffee shop, to doing my weekly grocery shopping, to finally heading home, cooking lunch. Probably the first time in a while I thought, "damn, technology is insane".

I have a 21" iMac on my desk, with which to watch anime. The smaller of the two models.
I can remember when a 19" color TV set was considered luxury for your living room.

But as for being "amazed" by technology, insert obligatory Hatsune Miku video.

I have mixed feelings. On the one hand I love the internet and the amount of information I can access instantaneously. I like using uber from my smart phone. Heck I like the fact that my phone is basically a computer. The downsides I barely understand technology beyond how to use it I don't get how to program or fix technology. I don't like how jobs are being automated and that manual labor jobs are disappearing. I don't like how quickly things are changing in society. Granted I don't expect technology to slow down, but I would like it to. There are many days were I wish I could just work a simple job 5 days a week make enough to live and not have to worry about constantly trying to improve. I yearn for a simpler time.

When I saw a real working jetpack and a James Bond car (real-life) that can become a sub, boat or plane I was completely overwhelmed. It was as if my very dreams came true (although I never will be able to afford, own or even use one). Seeing them before I die was always a solid goal of mine since a kid watching the Jetsons.

I think its amazing that we've been recording history for the past thousands of years and there's only a really huge leap forward from the past century. I mean, think about it, the first (if not the first then one of the first) computer was invented sometime in 1920-1930. Then around (4?) decades later, it becomes accessible to the richer families. Around the 1990's many middle class families are now able to afford one. And now 20 years later, literally everything is based on computer technology. So yeah, I think it's pretty amazing.
