Heyo sexeh buddies~ I'm basically looking for some RPGs to play, I've become bored of games having limited features or horrible stories though.. I'm also pretty tough on games.
So yeah if you wanna recommend some RPGs new or oldish then hop to it :3
only have a ps3,ps4 and pc atm though :P

I'd appreciate some recommendations if ya know of any, genre besides RPG doesn't matter.
I'm just hungering for a good role playing game =,=

Have you played the "Tales of" Series? They are really good in my opinion. There are 4 on ps3 they are fighting/adventure/jrpgs and there is another one releasing on October 20th called tales of zesteria. Tales of: Xillia, Xillia 2, Symphonia chronicles, and Graces. The "Persona" series has an awesome storyline and persona 3 is available on the psn store, but persona 1 and 2 are on psp, Persona 4 is one PS2 and Persona 4 Golden is on PS vita.

Good story RPGs:

PS1: Xenogears
Vagrant Story
Parasite Eve

PS2: Xenosaga ep 1
Persona 3-4

PS3: Valkyria Chronicles
FF10 remaster

Wii: Xenoblade

PSP: Persona 4 Golden (best version)
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky
Tactics Ogre

3DS: Fire Emblem

Tales of Xilla is on a flash sale for $6 this weekend if you have those in Aussie. Best RPG in the PS3 era is Valkyria Chronicles IMO.

Yeah I've played a few Tales games, my favorite was probably Vesperia =,=
Haven't played any in awhile though so I might look at them, I will probably have a look at Persona 3 since I loved P4.

Xenosaga (PS2)
Persona 3 (PS2/PSP, best on PSP if you have it... or you can emulate it I guess)
Tales of the Abyss (PS2)
Tales of Xillia (PS3)
Demon's Souls (PS3)
Dark Souls (PS3)
Witcher 3 (PS4)

Have you ever tried "Shovel Knight" by any chance? Its not exactly what you would call a "RPG" but its an insanely good 2D side scroller adventure game that has been receiving free DLC recently. You can find it on both the playstation consoles and the PC so you get a nice choice there :).

Well you said you have a "nes/snes/megadrive/gba/psp/ps1/n64/dreamcast/ps2/gamecube/wii-in-one" (ie, pc, emulators are brilliant inventions indeed xD)

So i am going to name one very old game that is really really good... chrono trigger on the snes! It's a true classic, if you haven't played it yet, go play it!

Oh and , do you have a smartphone? Because android can perfectly emulate nes, snes, gbc, gba, megadrive, ps1, ds, psp, n64 and some other platforms... so added benefit of playing chrono trigger is you can throw it on your android-whatever and take it with you everywhere you go

I have not really played any notable JRPGs. Mainly western ones (no particular reason, just not got round to JRPGs)

I found that Dragon Age Inquisition is great fun! Great lore, interesting characters, simple but fun gameplay.

Any of the Souls games (Dark Souls, Bloodborne) are great RPGs.

Divinity: Original Sin, another great game, coming soon to consoles I do believe, is getting a sequel too, a good turn based tactical party RPG.

Mount and Blade: Warband, a unique take on RPG, more realistic and different.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic Series, if you're a fan of the Star Wars series.

Diablo or Torchlight if you're into Dungeon Crawlers.

Eternal Sonata, Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles, Time and Eternity, The Guided Fate Paradox.

Diablo II: Lord of Destruction (Requires Windows XP)
Diablo III: Reaper of Souls
Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic I
Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic II
Fallout 3
Fallout: New Vegas
Dragon Age: Origins
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect 3

I can't think of any more than that, without including MMOs. If you like a bit more storytelling, like in Star Wars: Knights of The Old Republic, I suggest looking into adventure games such as Full Throttle (Requires Windows XP). It's not an RPG, but it's grand, never the less. If you like it, you can also look into The Curse of Monkey Island (Requires Windows XP), Escape from Monkey Island and Tales of Monkey Island, and maybe even Sam & Max Hit The Road (Requires Windows XP). All of these are LucasArts games, and are all considered adventure games.

The Tales series is my favorite, but Final Fantasy is also excellent. Tales of Zestiria comes out next month (PS3, PS4 and PC), and maybe the rumors of a FFXII remaster are actually true, in which case you should definitely pick it up.

Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery EP ( Mobile, PC )
Tomb Raider 2013 ( PS3,PS4, PC )

Ohoho, a fan of Parasite Eve and Tactic Ogre. I'll tack Legend of Dragoon and Magna Carta onto that list. I'd say that RPGs made in the 90's - early 00's have a better story quality than more current ones. Did you ever play Hoshigami on psx?
