If there was worth while stuff that was non-anime I might watch it. Sadly they are few and far inbetween. So MORE ANIME!

I think that OP is very unclear in what they're trying to ask and therefore I'm not sure how to answer.

To use some examples it seems to mean is it wrong to watch the anime adaptation but not check out the source material, I'm more forgiving because you're willing to at least check out something if it's an anime, and frankly, though they are rare, there are times when the source material is worse than it's adaptation, see Fate/Stay Night the Visual novel, compared to the frankly, amazing Unlimited Blade Works adaptation of one of the arcs, or the original Ghost in the Shell manga, as compared to the 1995 film.

Now if OP is referring to anime being the only thing he watches and thus does not watch Live Action TV Dramas, or live action Western film, I am less far less forgiving because restricting yourself to one country's works, or one medium of exploring stories and characters, you do yourself a disservice. To miss western entertainment is like restricting yourself to western material, lacking and self restricting. Like friends of mine who don't like subtitles and thus miss such golden works as Oldboy, or Battle Royale or Tokyo Story, one that will not watch Western Material will miss out on, to use the last couple years alone, Under the Skin, Boyhood, Interstellar and Fury Road.

We can say yes, we have limited time and we should use that to enjoy what we enjoy, but that shouldn't mean handicapping ourselves to one medium or one region of the world's entertainment.

Do what you want.
Watch what you want.
Play what you want.
Explore when you want.

I kind of get the feeling that the OP is talking about watching anime instead of regular tv shows and stuff.

And if that's the case, no I don't think it's bad. I've often spent months where I solely watch anime. You like what you like.

I dont think it's bad but it might get boring if that's literally all you watch.

I know old ladies who just knit, old men who have a one-track mind when it comes to either baseball or football and kids who spend all their free time playing videogames. There's a saying that kind of fits here, "Jack of All Trades, Master of None". Some people love one thing enough to know everything about it others spread themselves thin content to know and enjoy many things rather than just one. If anime is what interests you most spend as much time as you want to on it. If someone has a problem with it, it's their problem not yours. Do what you think is right for you.

Hmm.. I think if you are content with what you are watching, and you have enough to watch then that is fine. I, myself, prefer animation in general. American, Japanese, etc. I will watch anything from.. say "I love you." to wagnaria to naruto to akame ga kill. Then I might switch over to the tv at night and watch things like family guy, metalocalypse, etc. Now, I also occasionally watch Japanese dramas, or American movies. etc. but my prefered style of entertainment is animation.

I've been watching anime for two+ years and am still not bored of it. So, like I said, if you are content with just watching anime, then that's all you. And that's fine.
