When I was 10 or so I would chug water bottles during the summer. I haven't done that since my family got AC though.

Wow how bad was the heat problem that you'd be chugging water bottles to stay cool... because we all know drinking water doesn't actually cool you down...

We didn't have fans or anything so I would watch my shows or read while chugging water to keep cool. My home situation was at the level of "your windows broken but we don't have money so here's some duct tape" Summers were the worst

I've come close... and considering that I've also come close to drinking a full liter on a separate occasion I would say that I could drink 16.9 fl oz/half a litter if I was thirsty enough, more so if it was juice and even more so if it was soda.

Yes but I normally drink from a similar size container. A normal size water bottle is gone in two gulps.

Yes. And it results in it coming out the other end at an alarmingly fast rate.

I've gone through two of them like that on multiple occasions breaking from training. I of course would make sure the next break would be for some Gatorade instead. It's bad if you are sweating a lot and are only replacing the water.

Depends on how thirsty I am and what I've been doing. There have been a few times where I've chugged a liter in one go and then still drank more.
Of course it can be bad, like the time I chugged a liter of heavily chlorinated water and was sick the rest of the afternoon. In my defense, the water there wasn't usually that chlorinated, just that day, and I was too thirsty to care until it was too late.
