I have been trying to cancel my membership since yesterday. I go into setting click cancel confirm it and it takes me back to my account page with nothing changed still since i am an active member and have a recurring payment. I emailed help about it but they only sent me a link to cancel that takes me to the setting page where i can cancel but it wont do anything.

Hi, I've been having the same issue since May of this year. I'll get an email saying your account has been cancelled, then about a few weeks later, i a crunchyroll payment taken from my account. Please help, really stressed. Will try to cancel again.

Hello

I am having the exact same thing, I've just emailed them. Hopefully I wont get sent a link to do the same thing again as its not showing up on my account as being cancelled (the payments still say recurring)

My membership renews on the 28th, so I wont be happy if I get another payment sent out when I've got an email saying its cancelled.


Hope someone can fix this!!

I am also having this problem. I've tried multiple times to cancel the reoccurring payments, but it just does nothing.

Come on CR. This payment issue has been going on since the earliest days of CR, when you guys transformed from a semi-illegal to a fully legal site.

It almost feels like you guys have always wanted to keep this problem that way. After all, you guys got nothing to lose and all the money from the loose payments to gain. I have encountered this problem in the past, and it is a very frustrating one.

It's quite on the contrary. The affected users have pending charges, but do not have sufficient funds on their accounts or canceled their cards. They can't cancel their premium memberships because they technically still owe Crunchyroll money for the ongoing month and the service they are still receiving.

You had a pending charge. I've canceled that now, your premium services will not renew again.

Oh, I see. Well, I know there was the problem where you couldn't turn of auto-recurring payment. It was there 3 years ago, was still there 2 years ago, and it is probably still a problem now (unless it has been fixed). Either way, it was a problem for many years.

I just had almost the opposite problem.

I just cancelled my 30-day trial Premium membership, and I used the option to cancel the recurring charges, and it said that my premium membership would expire on October 5th. Yet once I finished the survey, it sent me an email saying that my membership has been cancelled "effective immediately" and that it had expired (2 separate emails).

I wish to cancel the re-occuring payment for my free trail (I don't understand why i am being offered a free trail since i been a member for a very long time( just curious )..i was unable to upgrade my account until today even though my membership was suppose to end the 2nd) .. i was force to do the free trial


I have tried to get ahold of Support but i have yet to hear from support .. it has been a week
