Daisuki, Viz Media and Viz Media Europe co-licenced the series together, so it probably won't be coming to Crunchyroll any time soon.

So far, it seems like it'll be limited to Daisuki & Hulu.

Viz Media will stream the One-Punch Man television anime series on its website and on Daisuki.

Thus far, unlike Sailor Moon Crystal, they have not stated it will be on multiple digital outlets, so it might indeed be only limited to Daisuki & Hulu.

To those in the know, what are the chances of Crunchy getting Heavy Object? And more importantly in my case for the UK aswell?

Heavy Object is very likely a Showgate title, since Warner Brothers is streaming the PV on YT.
So, there's a 50/50 chance right off the bat of it either being a Sentai title or a FUNi title.
In the case of a Sentai title, it'll be here on CR and going by the territories of past Sentai/CR Showgate titles, it's also very likely to be available in the UK.
If it's a FUNi title, with it being a Showgate title, there's a chance of it being on CR as well, however, in this case it wouldn't be available here to English speaking territories.

With that in mind, there's also usually a few titles that Warner Brothers doesn't stream the PVs for each season that wind up being Showgate titles and Sentai usually gets the bulk of the Showgate titles each season, so it really depends on which of the known possible Showgate titles FUNi decides to goes after.

The website (http://www.heavyobject.net) only has the Warner Bros. logo and there isn't any obvious mention of it on Showgate's site, so it might be a Warner Bros. title, in which case CR is the likely bet.

I'd also point out that Showgate has sold FUNimation titles to Viewster (Prison School and Snow White With the Red Hair) before, so even if FUNi gets it, it may not be locked out of the UK.

Unlike the 2 series that they are streaming PVs for that Warner Brothers does indeed hold the international license to (JoJo's & TERRAFORMARS), Warner Brothers isn't shopping Heavy Object around and heavily promoting it at cons.
Which is a good indication it's a Showgate title.

I didn't include Viewster in my analysis, since the question was specifically asking about CR.
However, you are correct, if it does wind up being a FUNi title, there is the possibility of Viewster getting it as well for the UK.

Asterisk war? I was thinking that this show was about swearing and censorship until I read the description.

Sorry, its a J.C. Staff title. Warner is probably only handling the home distribution for DVD/BD like they are for GATE.
KADOKAWA ASCII Media Works holds the copy write so it may go to Funi.

I agree with you 100%. This is new in anime. I can't think of any possible similarities it shares with any anime like for example....Gunslinger Stratos. This series looks truly groundbreaking!!

You are correct in saying Warner is probably only handling JP home distribution.
However, ASCII Media Works only publishes the LN, they don't deal with international licensing as they usually team up with Genco to find video publishers and international rights holders since they don't have an in-house video division. It's common to see them partner with NBC Universal and Warner (the latter meaning a Showgate license and some times the former, as in the case of Black Bullet).

On the subject of J.C. Staff though, they're an animation studio, so they really have nothing to do with this.
However, if we go with J.C. Staff as a baseline as to who will get it, it's still 50/50 at the start, since they both license J.C. Staff Showgate titles.
But there again, Sentai usually picks them up and has since they started simulcasting and though I'd actually have to look it up to be certain, I believe the only J.C. Staff Showgate titles FUNi has ever picked up was the Wixoss series (S1 & S2).

It's also worth nothing that Terraformars is a Kaze license over in the UK instead of Warner Bros (and also streaming on Animax UK). They're releasing it in 2 parts with 6-7 episodes per set with no OVAs, Blu-ray is the only saving grace in all of this. Granted Nisekoi turned out okay (2 episodes with sub issues being the only problem).

But yeah Heavy Object appearing on Viewster is a possibility, but we'll probably be waiting a bit longer for it to appear (then again it looks like a good license for Anime Limited so they'll probably pick it up).
